I looked at is my sister's site: Aubrey Millen. Obviously I have a personal connection, so I am family bound to like her site :) But I do like the dark background color she used to pop her images, and I like how she shows different types of art in her portfolio, even tho she is currently most interested in animation. Also, she looks goofy in her "artist biography" section, ha, so what's not to love about her (and her site). The other site I found that I liked was on an artist named Alex Swanson. His site was unexpectedly formal, and I liked that at the top of his "portfolio" page there were all his portfolio pieces, something that a recruiter would be interested in, but at the bottom were some interesting visual pieces that he calls "personal projects" like in the example above.
